Deoxite is a Gradle monorepo: a Spring Boot server on Java 25, a generated TypeScript client, a migration module, and a Next.js application that consumes the same contract the server publishes. Nothing describes a request twice — the code generator is the single place the shape of the API is written down, and both sides fail to compile when it changes.

That decision is the whole point of the project. A schema kept in two languages by hand is a schema that is wrong on a Friday afternoon and discovered on a Monday; a schema kept in one place and projected outward is wrong exactly once, at build time, with a file name attached.

The runtime is Kubernetes — Traefik at the edge, cert-manager for certificates, CloudNativePG for Postgres, Cilium for networking, and Kata runtime classes where workloads need a real boundary rather than a namespace. Local development runs the same manifests on k3d, with the per-environment differences kept in one values file instead of a fork.
